Denham Airport Safeguarding Map: Bird Hazard (May 2008)<\/SPAN><\/P> The Denham Airport Safeguarding Requirements and Arrangements sets out information for Local Planning Authorities to use to decide when Denham Airport should be consulted on a planning application and given the opportunity to comment on it. The basis for this is as follows:<\/SPAN><\/P> a. The provisions of the \u2018Town and Country Planning (safeguarded aerodromes, technical sites and military explosives storage areas) Direction 2002\u2019 and DfT Circular, 1/2003 require licensed aerodromes to protect their locations from the effects of possible adverse development.<\/SPAN><\/P> b. The Civil Aviation Authority requires all licensed aerodromes to comply with the provisions of its Civil Aviation Publication, CAP168 \u2018Licensing of Aerodromes\u2019 which sets out the geometry for the OLS.<\/SPAN><\/P> c.
